BIOTIME MOVES TO NEW HEADQUARTERS

EMERYVILLE, CA, June 20, 2005 - BioTime, Inc. (Amex: BTX) has opened its new executive office and laboratory facility at the Heritage Square campus in Emeryville, California. BioTime will occupy 5,244 square feet of space in this multi-use complex under a five-year lease, with a five-year extension option.
